Questions & answers
The things people ask us most.
If your question isn’t here, just call — we’d rather talk it through than have you guess.
Do you come to the home?
Yes — that’s the heart of what we do. Our clinicians visit homes, nursing homes, and assisted living across the Illinois Metro East, so most people never have to travel for their wound or medical care.
What kinds of wounds do you treat?
All the common and complicated ones: diabetic foot ulcers, pressure sores, venous leg ulcers, arterial wounds, post-surgical wounds, skin tears, infections, and wounds that have been open for months. If you’re not sure, just call and describe it.
Is it only wound care?
No. Wound care is where many people start, but we also provide in-home primary care, chronic-condition support, diabetes help, and care that follows people across hospital, facility, and home transitions.
What does it cost / do you take insurance?
Coverage depends on your situation, and we’ll walk you through it honestly before anything happens. Call us and we’ll help you understand what applies.
How fast can someone be seen?
Reach out and we’ll move quickly — we don’t make people sit on a wound. Call 314-325-0126 and we’ll find the soonest workable visit.
Who actually provides the care?
Your visits and treatment decisions are made by licensed clinicians and the independent medical practices we work with. Metro East Health handles scheduling, coordination, and support.
Which towns do you cover?
The Illinois side of Greater St. Louis — Madison, St. Clair, and Monroe counties and the surrounding area, including Belleville, Edwardsville, O’Fallon, Collinsville, Granite City, Alton, Columbia, Waterloo, and many more. Each has its own page under coverage.
Do you have a clinic I can visit?
Not a public walk-in location yet — our care comes to you. A clinic location will be added when it’s ready, giving people the choice.
